Theft Protection

Up to $2,500 or $5,000 benefit payable on vehicles declared a total loss due to theft.

How and why does it work?

In the event that the Theft Deterrent System installed on a covered vehicle fails to prevent the covered vehicle from being stolen during the term of the program, and in the event that the covered vehicle is rendered a total loss as a direct result of the theft, the Traceable Theft Protection Coverage will pay up to $2,500, or $5,000 (depending on the plan chosen at enrollment).

Partial Loss Benefit

In the event that the Theft Deterrent System installed on a covered vehicle fails to prevent the covered vehicle from being stolen during the term of the program, and in the event that the covered vehicle is rendered a partial loss, the Traceable Theft Protection Coverage will pay the Partial Loss Benefit which is an amount equal to the lesser of the customer’s actual primary insurance deductible OR the costs incurred by the customer for the repair of those damages that were the direct result of the subject theft. The Partial Loss Benefit maximum allowed payable amount is $1,000.
